QUILT CARE

 WHAT TYPE OF MATERIALS DO YOU USE IN YOUR QUILTS?

I use 100% premium quilters cotton fabrics, 100% cotton Quilters Dream batting, and 100% cotton Aurifil thread in all of my projects, unless otherwise stated.

ARE YOUR QUILTS PRE-WASHED BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED?

Yes. All quilts are washed once with mild detergent prior to shipping to ensure quality and prevent color bleeding. There are a few exceptions to this, such as pillows and pillow covers, wall hangings, tabletop quilts and placemats. 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY QUILT?

Your quilt is meant to be used. The more it is snuggled and loved, the softer it will become. When it’s time to wash, please remember:

Machine wash COLD and GENTLE.

MILD detergent. NO bleach.

Tumble dry LOW or lay FLAT to dry.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY QUILT?

It is best not to store your quilt in a chest or container. Your quilt needs to breathe. If you must store it, make sure it gets plenty of air circulation and is not kept folded for months or years at a time. This could create permanent creases. It’s best to roll the quilt or occasionally refold it using different fold lines while being stored.
